Dr. Man Has Our Lashes (& Hearts!) A-Flutter With BOGO Latisse Offer

We're headed straight into the sweltering months of summer, which are notoriously unfriendly times for ladies who like their eye makeup to stay put. Wouldn't it be great if you stepped into the Florida humidity and had long, full, paparazzi-worthy lashes - without a mascara meltdown moments later?

Gab fans, dream no longer. Daniel Man, M.D., one of the nation's leading platic surgeons located right here in Boca Raton, has the solution.

Today until Friday, June 3, Dr. Man is offering two kits of Latisse, the only FDA-approved eyelash enhancement solution, for $125 ($62.50 each).

This stuff is honestly magic. Just brush it onto your top lashline each night (like you would a liquid eyeliner) and you'll start to grow thick, dark, browbone-skimming lashes within a month. We heard Claire Danes's lashes grew so long that her makeup artist actually had to trim them. No tarantula mascara, no break-the-bank eyelash extensions - just natural, "Oh-my-goodness-how-do-you-get-them-so-long" lashes.

Stop in to Dr. Man's office by Friday, June 3, to get your hands on the newest ammunition in your beauty arsenal. We won't tell anyone your secret...

Check out some of Gab's favorite Latisse-lovers...

"Gabby" Birthday to Steven Pellegrino, Sr.!

Steven Pellegrino, Sr., the man behind Il Bacio Restaurant & Lounge and PRIME, has thrown the people of South Florida some of the hottest parties we have ever seen.

It was only fitting that, for the big guy's birthday, we go all out with a Summer Circus-themed Birthday Bash worthy of Il Bacio's off-the-chart event roster.

So, for the past week, Gab worked in secret to plot the perfect birthday, including smuggling an oversize paper birthday cake into the office for Steven's wife, Jackie, to decorate.

On Saturday, May 14, we finally were able to pull out all the stops, kicking off the evening with a hilarious James Brown fire performance before presenting dangling aerialists, fireworks courtesy of Steven Pellegrino, Jr., and - surprise! - a beautiful woman leaping out of a birthday cake and launching into a dance and fire performance act for a very surprised Steven.

As always, DJ Brett the Hitman kept the crowd going until we couldn't dance anymore, providing the soundtrack to yet another unforgettable night.

The party never ends when you're working with the Pellegrinos!

"Chick Flick Night" Takes Off in Tampa With the Help of Butlers in the Buff

This Saturday, May 16, in Tampa, loads of ladies celebrated all things girly at "Chick Flick Night," which kicked off, fittingly, with Grey "Goose Bridetinis," swag bags and the incomparable company of Butlers in the Buff, Florida's hottest new British import. Always the life of the party, the Butlers led the ladies onto a party bus, where they were whisked away to the red-carpet VIP premiere of "Bridesmaids."

Needless to say, us Gabbers are a little jealous. We can't wait for the Butlers to serve us again at one of our South Florida events or pop into the office for a visit.

"The Circus" 2-Year Anniversary Celebration at Il Bacio

"The Circus" rolled into town on Wednesday, April 27, celebrating Il Bacio's second year as Delray’s premier venue for nightlife, entertainment and dining with over-the-top entertainment worthy of The Big Top.

The much-anticipated event lived up to its high-flying expectations as more than 500 South Florida revelers partied the night away, their senses captivated by the dazzling and sultry circus-inspired acts and pulsating sounds of DJ Brett the Hitman.

Sponsored by Ketel One Vodka, "The Circus" kicked off with Harlequin Stilt Walkers, a nod to vintage acts of days past, and the incredible Goatman, who roamed the courtyard inviting intrigued guests to the join the party.

As a seductive belly dancer and her curious snake slithered through the crowd, guests were treated to sensational aerialists and gravity-defying performances from suspended silks.

The night heated up with incredible fire performers, and culminated with a spectacular violinist that blew the crowd away with his rock solos.

The only thing to do after such an unforgattable event? Start planning for next year!

We've said it before, and we'll say it again: We really, really love Mexican (in case that wasn't already made cystal clear from our Pre-Cinco de Drinko Gab Night Out). We can't resist gas can margaritas, passing around obnoxious oversize sombreros, having the ability to smother just about anything with guacamole...you get the idea.

So, naturally, when it comes to celebrating our favorite things, Gab is going to know where to go for the best Cinco de Mayo party.

Correction: Parties.

Save the date this Cinco De Mayo (Thursday, May 5) for Caliente Kitchen's dual All-Day Cinco de Mayo Celebrations and discover one hot Mexican concept in two awesome locations - Delray Beach and Boynton Beach.

Life Time Athletic "High Octane" Event Brings The Fire

On Friday, April 15, Gab brought plenty of untamed entertainment to Life Time's pool area with "High Octane," a special event for Life Time members and their guests. Partygoers decked out in Spring fashions arrived to the energetic sounds of tribal drummers - and the unmistakable aroma of smoked BBQ.
Smokehouse Grille & Wingery catered the event with their famous wings, pork, turkey, and signature sauces. Guests were also treated to decadent Lollie Bites, because, well, who doesn't love cake on a stick? We even caught a few people stashing extras in their handbags!

The evening's high-energy entertainment kicked off, literally, with a group of capoeira dancers, Afro-Brazilian Martial Arts artists who started the night out with splits, flips and choreographed one-on-one battles. As the sun (and several spiked Tropical Punch cocktails) went down, the night lit up with tribal-inspired fire performances.

Some performances were seductive, some were plain wild, but, judging by the applause, they were crowd-pleasers across the board. When the party ended, guests went home with a souvenir - their bodies etched in intricate tribal tattoos. $5 per person entrance donations benefited the Life Time Fitness Foundation, a 501 c3 foundation supporting healthy kids and healthy communities.
